  • Miss, Can I Charge My Phone?

    Funded Dec 23, 2024

Gifting students with phone and Chromebook chargers ensures they remain connected and engaged in their learning, reducing barriers to access caused by technical issues. This support fosters academic success by allowing students to stay on track with assignments and communication, ultimately enhancing their educational experience and promoting equal opportunities for all learners.

Our students were so excited to be gifted with one as a celebration of their success and improvement. Thank you for support our efforts.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kesler

  • Miss, What's That Mean Again?

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

We truly appreciate your support of this project. Now when students ask, "Miss, what does that mean?" we have the tools and resources to show them how to find the answer they seek on their own.

As our students prepare to conquer their standardize test, teachers will be able to use the provided dictionaries to practice the needed skills required to use this accommodation. Dictionaries also support language acquisition as students learn spelling, origins, synonyms, definitions, and other components of the English language.

Adding these dictionaries to our collection of word-to-word bilingual dictionaries will add additional pedagogical practice to our teaching toolbelt and student success.

We cannot thank you enough, so we hope this note expresses our sincere gratitude.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kesler

  • Attendance Incentives

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I would like to thank each of you on behalf of our department and our students. We wish we could thank each of you in person, but we are happy to be able to send you this Thank You note. We also wish you could have seen the faces of the students who were surprised when they received a special visit from me celebrating their attendance. They were shocked and excited. Your generous donations made each student's day and their joyful faces made each teacher's day.

This quarter, we celebrated 27 students who earned perfect attendance. This diverse group of students included our multilingual students, students receiving special education services, and our general education students. Attendance is one of the most challenging aspects of our day. From students arriving late, not arriving at all, or skipping classes, we have struggled to get students motivated to attend classes consistently. Your gifts have now created a spark of excitement and buzz across our department to encourage their attendance! Thank you for this amazing gift and spark of hope.

Please continue to check in to my page for more opportunities to share your generosity and encouragement to our students. Every gift means so much to each of them.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kesler
