Many students have a math phobia. My goal is to get students into the habit of mind that learning is a process and it's not only ok to make mistakes, but its preferred. Confidence is also a key to excelling in math. Gaining confidence requires experience working with math. It's difficult to get any math done without the necessary supplies. I know my students will appreciate these supplies and use them to make the best of their math classroom experience inside and outside the classroom.
