    Thank you AGAIN for impacting my students and our reading environment. We are already in November so what better month to say THANK YOU! My students and I are still grateful for each of you!

    Our school is focused on balanced literacy so we have used our books as read-alouds, shared reading and for students independent reading. We have grown in all academic areas, but most importantly in our love for reading!

Think about the last time you picked up a really good book. Think about why you fell in love with that book or series and who encouraged you to read. I strive to be that teacher that gets students to open a good book just because. I want students to feel the endless possibilities of picking up a book when they step into the classroom and see our classroom library. These books will help our classroom library grow, just like us in Blooming With Miss Flores' class! Each book was carefully picked with students in mind. We will use these books in the classroom for student enjoyment and for read alouds. I have seen students fall in and out of love with reading. My goal is to keep the love for reading going as they continue to learn to read and eventually read to learn! "The more that you read. The more things you will know. The more that you learn.
