  • Lets Get Active!

    Funded Jul 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your continued generosity. I look forward to keeping my students active with games they enjoy. This will be a great start to our new school year. Students will be able to choose equipment related to their interests and have a variety of activities to participate in.”

  • Calming Area

    Funded Mar 13, 2023

My students are so excited to be getting a calming space for our classroom. They are currently helping me plan out how we will arrange our space. They are collaborating together to come up with different floor plans for our furniture to make our classroom space flow.

It is so fun to see their faces as Amazon packages trickle in from the office.

We will position our calming space near our windows to allow natural sun light in. Students will love reading in our calming area while the stress melts away.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dietz

  • Bring Some Magic to our Classroom!

    Funded Nov 18, 2022

Thank you so much for supplying our classroom with two amazing class sets of novels. It is so wonderful to be able to read more than just excerpts together as a class.

My Language Arts class just finished A Wrinkle in Time and they loved it. We had some wonderful discussions about the book.

My Homeroom is currently reading harry Potter. They are excited each time we take out the books. Many are quite surprised to have so much more to the story than what is in the movie.

Thank you again for bringing magic to our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dietz

  • Hands-on Art

    Funded Apr 21, 2022

Thank you so much for all of your generous donations. We really appreciate you all. It has been so nice taking a break from the screens and incorporating art into our curriculum. My students are so excited every time we take out the art supplies. Today we were able to make clay pots. The class was able to experience what is may have been like to rely on making your own supplies in the past. Experiences like this really make learning come alive. Later in the week we will paint the clay pots.”

  • Clean Classroom

    Funded Mar 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations. We are very excited to receive our new cleaning supplies. We have a brand new classroom and we really want to keep it in excellent condition.

With so many people getting sick, it will be nice to keep as many germs out as possible. The masks are great for those that want to wear them. The fun designs will be more exciting for 4th graders than the typical blue surgical masks.

We will also be able to protect our new floors with the mop, broom, and vacuums.”

  • Connecting to History Through Novels

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

Thank you so much for adding historical novels to our classroom library! These books will make history so much more relatable to my students. Understanding what others have gone through makes these stories so powerful and personal.

We just finished reading "What Was the Gold Rush?". My students were very engaged and looked forward to reading each day. They were able to transfer what they learned from the book to class discussions, flip-book notes, a group slide project, and finally to their test. It really helped them learn and make meaningful connections.

We are ready to read "Out of the Dust" to learn about the Great Depression soon!”

    With gratitude,

  • Let’s Zoom Forward!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so much for helping us Zoom forward. It has been so helpful having an updating computer to properly execute online learning. Zoom is freezing less and the programs are able to load correctly.

Now that we are back on campus, we are still using this computer daily to deliver instruction and multimedia lessons. We are able to use all different apps to help keep student engagement.

With such a vast variety of students, new technology is very helpful in differentiating instruction to all of our learners.”

  • Help Us Listen to the Text

    Funded Mar 9, 2020

Thank you so much for your donations. The headphones arrived the day before we went on our remote learning journey. We didn't know how long we would be away from school, so they were not checked out to students, but many teachers were able to use them for their virtual lessons. I numbered them with vinyl numbers that I made on my Cricut, and they are now ready to checkout to students this year. It is so crucial that students are able to have as few distractions as possible during our Zoom sessions.”

  • Flexible Seating

    Funded Oct 7, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations. I can't believe how quickly you all helped our classroom. Our project was funded, and materials were delivered in just over a week.

My students have really enjoyed having the flexible seating. I am noticing positive changes in behavior as well. Many kids are able to stay seated and work for longer periods of time. Students are enjoying the ability to have different seating options frequently.

We really appreciate having a more movement friendly classroom. Many students take the bus for an hour each way, so they have to sit a lot. This donation has been extremely helpful.”

  • Preparing For A Technological Future

    Funded Mar 23, 2013

My students were so excited to come back from Spring Break and learn that our project had been funded. Being new to this school, I did not have the same technology as other teachers. Now my students have the same resources.

I am able to share power points that I have created on various subjects. I am also able to keep parents in the loop by scanning homework and projects.

I am also no able to show educational films. Before we did not have speakers or a tv, so I can show the, on the laptop”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dietz
