We are so grateful for the magic that you just added to these students lives by supplying us with outdoor equipment. 59th Street Elementary School will truly use it to ensure that children are learning and growing: mind, body and soul!   • Don't Cut That Out!

Beside helping with my classroom management (students don't have to share materials, and be bored while waiting), students are able to take their creativity to epic levels.     This classroom project was brought to life by Kia Motors America and 5 other donors.
My students are amazing minds located right in the heart of the inner city. The scissors are a tool to get my students to think creatively. They will use them to cut creative displays of their thoughts in an artistic way. As we design imaginative paper creations, the students can use them to demonstrate their knowledge of a topic. Our classroom can stop thinking within the confines of a rectangular piece 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper, but more in a festive self expression of knowledge that they have gained from our scholastic journey.

About my class
