  • Help Our Classroom Stay Organized and Engaging!

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

Thank you so much for your generosity in funding our project! Your support means the world to our classroom, and we can’t wait to print out our amazing work to display them in the classroom. Because of you, our students will have the materials they need to engage in meaningful learning every day.

We are truly grateful for your kindness and investment in our students' success. Thank you for making a difference!”

  • Keep It Sharp!

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you so much for funding the pencil sharpeners and crayon sharpeners for our classroom. You have no idea how much time students are saving using these sharpeners in the classroom.

Before, students had to sharpen the pencils multiple times because the pencil would still be dull or the led would break off very easily. But now that we have these sharpeners, students can push the pencil in lightly and they would be a sharp pencil back! Students are calling these sharpeners "Magical Sharpeners" and want to know where I bought them so they can ask their parents for one to use at home.

Using these sharpeners also helped students not to waste any pencils. They can actually use one pencils for a long time, instead of wasting them from sharpening over and over. These sharpeners have been a very useful took in our classroom and we can't live without these sharpeners anymore!! Thank you so much!!”

  • We Need iPads to Code Sphero Mini!

    Funded Aug 5, 2024

Thank you so much for providing the iPads for our classroom. My students were so excited when I told them that we finally have iPads to control the Sphero Mini Robots.

We have Chromebooks to use in the classroom but had trouble downloading the Sphero Mini Apps. When I contacted the ITD helpdesk, we were told that iPads would work better with the Sphero Mini's than Chromebooks. My students were devastated that we couldn't use the Sphero's even though they were sitting right in front of them.

With the new iPads, we were able to download the app right away and students were beyond excited to play with the Sphero Mini's. They were eager to finish their assignments so they had time to use the iPads as joysticks to control the Sphero Mini's. They even volunteered to work in groups to take turns controlling the joystick.

These iPads have brought so much excitement and joy to our classroom and I'm grateful for all of your help. Thank you again for bringing excitement into our classroom.”

  • Coding with Sphero!

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you so much for providing my students the chance to learn about coding and strengthen their knowledge about coding. They were so excited when I pulled out the Sphero Mini boxes. Some could not contain their excitement and ran around the classroom!

Students were able to work in groups of 4 to code their Sphero Mini and figure out how to code the robot to move, turn, switch colors, and make sounds. All of my students showed great interest in coding and showed good team work with their peers.

We only have 1 more day left of this school year and wish we had more time, but my students really enjoyed coding and playing with their Sphero Mini. Thank you once again for creating that spark of joy for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kim

  • iPad for Small Group Instructions!

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you so much for helping us get an iPad for small group instruction. I was able to use the iPad to share my slides during grammar lesson and students had so much fun looking at the visuals to help them learn. Using an iPad made my lesson easier because I don't have to disconnect my laptop from the big monitor and waste time trying to reconnect again.

I was also able to use the iPad during one on one fluency testing. It made testing easier because it was touch screen and I was able to take quick notes using the Apple pencil. With all the testing that is required this year, having an iPad made it easier to assess the students and not waste any time.

Once again, thank you very much for your donation. We will continue to use the iPad during small group instructions.”

  • Class Charging Station

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you so much for donating the Chromebook Charging Station to our classroom. Before getting this charging station, we only had 6 chargers available for 21 students so it was causing a lot of problems with who gets to charge first and taking turns. We have had many days where some Chromebooks were not charged so students could not use them during instructional time.

This charging station has saved me from getting headaches everyday! There are 16 charging slots so it is more than enough for more than 2/3 of my students to charge at once. We haven't had any problems with students not being able to charge their Chromebook to use during instructional time. What makes it better is that it hides the charging cords behind the cart! We don't have to worry about untangling the cords or students stepping and tripping over the cord. I love to keep my classroom clean and organized and we can finally do that with the charging station! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!”

  • Showcasing Our Amazing Work!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you so much for donating the ink cartridges for the printer. We were able to produce our first essay this school year, and print out the cover page! Students were excited to see their work being displayed on the classroom bulletin board, and they were proud of how their work turned out.

We have many activities planned for this school year, and we can't wait to see how our work will be displayed. Thank you again for making my students feel proud of their hard work! It was good to se their smiling faces!”

  • 4th Grade Memories

    Funded Apr 29, 2022

Thank you so much for funding the Cricut Easy Press. I was able to cut out student names and use the easy press to make each of them a class shirt. I also added a happy face patch in the front, and my students were so excited to get them!! We wore the shirts every Friday until it was time to say goodbye for summer.

Some of my students have expressed how that shirt is very special to them because they have never had a class shirt. They thought it was only for 5th graders who are ready to culminate! Thank you allowing me to gift something special to my students. These memories will stay with them for a long time.”

  • Who Wants to Play Castle Ball?

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

My students have been very excited when we started receiving delivery boxes. They were asking what was in the box, and when they get to use the items inside the box. I explained to students that these equipments were donated from generous donors to help us stay fit and have fun.

I opened the boxes with the students and they were very excited to see foam balls and hula hoops. They had no idea that we were going to use both, the foam balls and hula hoop to play a game! When I explained how to play the game and practiced making castles using the hula hoops, my students couldn't wait to go outside and play.

Once we were outside, they were having so much fun and wanted to play the game over and over again. Playing castle ball has shown students what team work is, and how important it is to work together.

Thank you so much for bringing excitement to my students. We really needed some after learning through the pandemic.”

My students attend a Title I school in California. Many of the students throughout the school are from low income families and qualify for free or reduced meals. Every morning, all 33 of my students walk into my classroom with a huge smile on their face, ready to learn. Many of my students do not have technology in their homes and many of them do not have parents that can help them with their homework. It is very important that they get to practice and reinforce their learning at school as much as possible.
