Classroom Mailboxes For Student Success
Funded Jul 31, 2022Thank you so much for all of your help in getting my classroom a mailbox! This has helped tremendously with my first year of having a homeroom! The students love checking their mailbox each day and each having a turn in the leadership role of acting as the mail carrier. This has taught them responsibility as it is their job to get their mail each night to take home. During conferences, I even had parents write a note to their child to leave in their mailbox for when they returned from school, which the students loved. Thanks so much for your generosity! It makes my students and I so happy that you care enough to help us out and has also taught them generosity and kindness.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bradley
3D Learning For A 3D World
Funded Sep 10, 2017First and foremost, I want to thank you all for your generosity in donating to our 3D Learning For A 3D World Project. It warms my heart to know that there are people that care about student learning and growth as much as I do. Your donations have gotten us two 3Doodler starter packs.
These resources have brought my students such joy, as they bring many of our classroom activities to life. My students are now able to model different mathematical situations using the 3Doodler pen. One instance that we have used the 3Doodler pen is when the students were trying to find the volume of different oddly shaped objects. This concept can be very complex when trying to imagine how this would work using a 2D image. Now the students can measure and create a 3D model of what the 2D picture is trying to show, which they can then use to find the volume.
Although we have only had the 3Doodler kits for just a short while, I can see the impact that it has made on my students and will continue to make on students for many years to come. We look forward to using the 3Doodler pens to simulate real world situations, make models, and create many other 3D projects. Once again, from my students and myself, thank you.”

Ms. Bradley
This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Donor and 2 other donors.Enriching Our Future, One Article at a Time!
Funded Dec 13, 2016Let me start off by saying thank you so much for your donations. Your commitment to furthering my students learning is greatly appreciated. I, as well as my students, are so grateful that compassionate individuals like yourself are willingly to help out kids and schools in need. I truly cannot thank you enough.
My students have loved reading their new Superscience and DynaMath magazines. Often times the students have read both entire magazines within a week. They are constantly asking me when the next set will be arriving. They truly look forward to getting them each month. Some of my students will even come to my room during recess and ask if they can take one of the magazines outside with them to read!
During class time, we have read some of the text together as it relates to the different topics we cover in class. The articles help students to see the real world applications of the concepts they learn about during our lessons. Often my students will ask why they need to know how to do different math problems. I often hear comments like "we will never need to know or use this in the real world" or "the job I want doesn't require me to know how to do this". My students now understand that the math concepts they are learning are used in so many ways that they never had considered before due to reading the articles in DynaMath. They also understand that science concepts are used in everyday life not just by scientists.
Thanks again for your help to enrich my students one article at a time!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bradley
