• Virtual Learning

  Thank you so much for your very generous donations. It has been so helpful to have books that relate to the times right now. We started the year by reading a book that taught us what going to school on Zoom is all about. We also read another book that explained the Coronavirus in a way that a child can understand. We continue to pull these books out throughout the year as reminders when we return from long breaks.

  I also want to thank you for all of the donations that helped me purchase the supplies that helped me make a set of letters for each of my students. This way, they can manipulate their letters during our Literacy block on Zoom. I think it is so important that students can do the same things we do at school while they are at home.”

• Making Phonics Fun!

  Thank you so much for all of your generous donations that helped bring our wonderful Phonics friend, Maybel to our classroom. Maybel has done wonders to our classroom engagement via Zoom. My students are so excited to see the different outfits that she has on. Your wonderful donations made it possible to buy a scientist outfit and superman outfit that go along with our reading powers. We also received birthday outfits that Maybel dresses in to wish our friends on Zoom a very Happy Birthday! The children are always watching to see what Maybel is up to every day. Thanks to your donations, school through Zoom has been a lot more fun!”

• Tools for Phonics

  Thank you so much for your generosity! The tools 4 reading resource pack has been amazing for online teaching, as well as in-person learning. It is very challenging to teach letter sounds in Kindergarten when the sound is skipping and you have a mask on. These cards have been such a wonderful way for students to see the correct mouth formation to use when you make the sound of a specific letter. The teacher manual has been very helpful for me in learning different and specific ways to teach the order of the letters and the sounds. I feel like this resource pack has improved my reading instruction tremendously. I really appreciate your help in funding this project! I do not know what I would do without it this school year.”

• Kinder Basics

  Thank you so much for all of your generous donations. All of the packages arrived and the children were beyond excited. We have so many fun supplies that we will get to use throught the school year. The children were very excited to see all of our googly eyes and ink pads for our stampers. We have a new green wobble stool that everyone wants to sit on. They also love our rechargable batteries. The are so excited that we do not have to throw the old batteries away anymore and that we can reuse them. It is so nice to have all of our electronics working all of the time.”

• Resting and Relaxation

  Thank you so much for all of your generosity! The children were so excited when all of our packages arrived. All of the resources from this project really helped to make our classroom a very zen place. We have been using our yoga book to introduce different poses after recess and lunch. We have learned that these poses help us calm down our bodies and get ready to focus for our math lesson. The children have really loved this activity and they look forward to it every afternoon. • Full STEAM Ahead

  Thank you so much for all of your very generous donations. My students were beyond excited when the packages arrived. All of the materials that we have received from this project have really helped my children think outside of the box and foster their creativity. They are building beautiful buildings out of the Magna Tiles. They have been working very hard to make sturdy buildings and not giving up if they fall down. These STEAM materials have also been teaching my students grit and the importance of never giving up. Thank you all for giving them this opportunity.”

• Math and Reading Resources!

  Thank you so much for your generosity. The children were able to use these materials at the very end of the school year. We used our new tens frame boards to practice addition with different colored chips. The children had a lot of fun shaking the cup, dumping it out, and adding the colors together using the tens frame. I absolutely loved walking around and listening to the explanations that they were giving their partners. It was amazing to see how this resource really helped some of my children better understand the importance of a tens frame.”

• New Year, New Learning Supplies!

They could not believe how somebody could help our classroom get such a wonderful resource. The picnic table that was funded through this project is such a big hit. It has absolutely transformed our play center into an area of our classroom that helps foster imagination, conversation, and friendship.
