7th Graders Need to Listen!

Thank you so much for the headphones! They are even nicer than we ever would have imagined. We have used them on many technology-driven assignments, like webquests, research projects, and online reading assignments. My students use them for reading intervention programs, like Lexia Reading and Achieve3000. Having a new set of headphones to support the listening component is helping my students make huge gains in reading fluency and comprehension.

The most exciting part of the new headphones is that there is an ample amount for my students. Each student gets their own pair to use and they love it! In addition to the amount, the students love the look of the new headphones. They resemble the popular headphones that kids like to wear today and it makes them even more excited to use them.

So far, the headphones have been a success in the classroom. They have helped my students reach goals that they have been working hard to accomplish. I truly believe that this technology is helping my students become stronger readers.”
