This project has been so meaningful for my students and myself. Students deal with a lot and these books are a great way to help navigate their feelings. I have shared the books with other teachers and our counselor.
Following our Character Strong traits of the month, we choose stories that you helped donate to read and relate to. Many of the stories are about topics such as grief, home insecurities, food insecurities, and other topics that are not always talked about in classrooms. I would like to shine a light on these topics to help students who are struggling and also to provide awareness for other students.
Thank you for your contribution to our school. We are very grateful for your donation.”

This is one of my favorite projects because the glow lights are something we will be using for years to come! We were able to use the glow paints to create beautiful artwork that we displayed in the hallways and the gym during our glow party.
It has been so nice to have our own set of glow lights to use throughout the year.
We will be using the glow lights at our next Wildcat event to give our students the experience of Disney's Oogie Boogie Bash. We will have a glow dance party, candy, and lots of opportunities for glow fun!”

These STEM tubs and tools have been a great way to give students open-ended, hands-on learning opportunities. Students enjoy working with the materials to build, create, and imagine.
Having the STEM bins has also allowed students to practice sharing with others, and collaboration experiences.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support. This project will help my classroom for years and provide so much learning to many students. I hope to add to my STEM makerspace in the future to make it even better!”

My students and families really appreciate having books that represent their cultures, represents certain demographics, and that they could see themselves in. These books have been such a great enhancement to our library. Students enjoy learning about different cultures through these books, especially when they have language that they can connect to. Thank you so much to all who donated to this project. Your contribution will help my students for years to come. This project really highlighted the fact that kids need to see themselves in the stories they read and having them has really been a positive impact in my library.”

This has been such a fun project for our library. We have created a fun cozy spot that has such a positive impact in my classroom. Students are able to go to an area where they can listen to music quietly, read books quietly, and also use some of the calming tools. Students enjoy the area and use it daily.
I have also used the Alexa pop as a Bluetooth speaker for Novel Effect book reads. Novel Effect adds sound effects to books which make books even more engaging and enjoyable for students.
Thank you so much for supporting this project.”

I am so excited to share this information with my students! They will be thrilled to hear we will get some new books about computer coding. Thank you so much for your generosity and support of my library and students. Your contribution will support many students for many years of learning.”
Our amazing mobile lending library is now stocked with great books for all readers. Teachers come and borrow books for their classroom libraries and really appreciate having higher-level books that engage our students.
Many of the books we had at this level before this project were books written and based on events happening in the 90's. (A great generation) But, my students wanted more realistic fiction novels that they could relate to with current topics. The books I chose are non-fiction and fiction books from levels T-Z and the students enjoy having more variety for them to choose from.
Thank you for your generosity and for providing a life-long positive impact on our students.”

This project has brought so much "life" into our library, pun intended! Caring for our plants has been so much fun. We have overwatered some and watched the effects. Oops! Life lessons in the making. I have had a couple of staff members say they really enjoy coming into the library because it helps them feel calm through the plants in the room. Thank you for contributing to our library!
I am excited to continue helping students care for these plants and hopefully can propagate some to give to other classrooms in the future.”

Having hardcover books that last a lot longer than paperback has made a huge impact in our library. I selected a few classic paperback books to replace to hardback and students are picking off the shelves a lot more. Most paperbacks get taped up by me and do not look as appealing as a shiny hardback book.
Students are excited about having more books in their hands. All the paperback books were donated to the students which they could keep forever. Thank you so much for your generosity. These books will be available in our library for many, many years thanks to your contribution.”

Your support for this project has changed my library for the better! I was able to use the bins to create designated sections for series of books and for popular animal books. Kids are able to find what they are looking for so much easier. The other bins have helped hold all our drawing supplies to keep everything organized and accessible. Students love being able to come to our maker space and find what they need easily. Thank you so much for your contribution, you've made such a positive impact in our library.”
We are a great group of kids who come from a low income, 100% free and reduced lunch, high mobility community. I say we because I was raised in this town, and now have the privilege to teach in it. We enjoy looking beyond the textbooks and thrive on hands-on activities to become "engineers" in our learning.
