  • A Calm Space to Relax and Rejunvenate

    Funded Dec 9, 2024

This space means so much to our school community. There was previously no dedicated space for peace and self-reflection, and with such a large school, this is much needed. We are constantly having meetings and ongoing construction because we are an older campus, so it is so important to have a space that is different from our offices and classrooms that we can enjoy some silence and space away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for believing in our mental health and personal growth and transformation. It makes a difference to our school community!”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Gendrano Adao

  • Understanding Ourselves Through Books

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

These book have brought a renewed and excited energy into my classroom! Nothing is better than opening a new book and learning how to connect to the characters through discussion and writing. Students have been thoroughly been impressed with the range of writing tones and styles they are exposed with the new books because many of them don't consider themselves readers or they claim reading generally doesn't interest them. Thank you so much for thinking of us and helping us reconnect with our love reading!”

    With gratitude,

  • Pingpong for Joy!

    Funded Jan 29, 2025

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE AMAZING ADDITIONS TO OUR SCHOOL! We need something for the students to enjoy and connect with one another. This is the beginning of a beautiful new middle school zone area that will increase the joy! Thank you for thinking of us and our school!”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Gendrano Adao

  • Keep Reading Cool in Book Clubs

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

These books have been a beautiful addition to our library and curriculum! Students are in regular book clubs that meet once a week. In these book clubs, they discuss the book, set goals, create projects around the characters and major plot points.

These new books are adding so much life and joy because the students have new sets that have entered to the rotation. These books add depth to the discussion because they are so relatable and contemporary in the settings and conflict presented. It illustrates the power of relationships, being proud of your identity, and having a sense of belonging. Thank you for bringing that our classroom!”

  • Calm Corner for All

    Funded Oct 19, 2024

This donation has brought so much joy for both students and teachers, and we are so grateful for the newly renovated space. Because we have a very large school with over 2000 students and almost 200 staff members, it can get overwhelming and anxiety inducing, so providing the space to be quiet and at peace is vital.

This space has allowed us to reconnect with ourselves and recenter our goals and values in the middle of the day. Some of the items in the space including puzzles, coloring books and comfy chairs have all created the perfect getaway. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

  • Celebrating Success in Style!

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

I am so excited for our pins! The Eagle Pins will become a badge of honor that our students can wear proudly and share their joy with others. Thank you for giving this students another reason to celebrate all of their accomplishments and giving them another reason to be proud of their school.”

  • Middle School Community Connections

    Funded Sep 19, 2024

These games and equipment have allowed the middle school students to connect in new ways! Thank you for helping is expand our programs to the outside and be more expressive and free to explore new games that our school wasn't able to offer recently. Since technology is all around us, the young people have not had the opportunity to play games and meet new people. The games like the large Jenga and the corn hole are new activities that we are able to offer during lunch and select days. It has been wonderful to see the students interacting and joyful!”

  • Understanding the Anxious Generation

    Funded Oct 18, 2024

This book is exactly what we need at this time! Our school district is implementing a district-wide cell phone policy that will require all stakeholders to be on the same page. The book, the Anxious Generation, provides both research and clear examples for everyone to have the language to tackle this issue head on. While we will have some pushback on the policy, at least we can begin to have meaningful conversations about the negative effects of social media and the use of excessive technology with students and community members. Thank you for giving is this gift of language.”
