I will be teaching 5th grade students in the coming school year, as a first year teacher. I look forward to getting to know each individual student as a person and as a learner. 5th graders come to school and want to be challenged. This age allows for a large amount of hands-on engagement and student interest led activities. I strive to provide my students with as many resources in all areas of their learning. I want my students to feel as if they were given the opportunity to learn effectively and develop new interests and skills.
