  • Get the Party Started!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We have loved having these resources in our classroom since school started.

The writing folders have helped SO much. Not one child has lost their writing drafts this year. They have a place to put it completely separate from all of their other work. It has given us nice and clean final copies.

We have also loved all of the fun games! The spelligator game has helped us with our phonics skills. It is so much fun to practice blends, closed syllables, and digraphs! They love using them every day!

Thank you so much for your generous donations. I couldn't have done it without you!”

  • What's in Store? Books Galore!

    Funded May 6, 2022

We are SO excited to have all of these books in our classroom! These high quality pictures books have enhanced and deepened our learning. We are so excited to have these to teach skills. The kids were so excited when they opened these to see all of the exciting new books. We have been reading one of them at least once a week since we got them. I love using them to teach life skills as well as comprehension skills.

The kids also love reading these independently they are motivated and are excited when they can read a book we read in class. It has also motivated some struggling readers to read and get excited about it!

Thank you again for all the help. I truly appreciate you.”

  • Focus and Feed Us!

    Funded Nov 17, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We couldn't have done it without you! When the kids saw the project, they got so excited! These tools will help us focus. They are already using the headphones and I have noticed such a difference in their learning. They are able to complete assignments with minimal distractions. Kids who had a hard time staying focused on their assignments and would get distracted by others talking, pencil noises, etc are able to focus without distractions. Their tummies are also full thanks to the snacks! We now have all the tools we need to be successful in our classroom!”

  • We All Can Read!

    Funded Jan 22, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations. This has helped us focus and fill in our reading holes! We are loving having these resources to make learning fun!

The books are helpful for struggling readers. They are reading books that are decodable and on their level. This helps them feel confident with their reading. Many children have read these books and felt successful reading a book for the first time without any help. They are excited to be readers who read books! The stories are also engaging and fun.

Thank you again for all of your help! We couldn't have done it without you!”

    With gratitude,

  • Let's Get It Started in Here!

    Funded Aug 25, 2021

This was a perfect project to start our school year. This helped us get ready to rock our learning. The post it notes have helped us show our learning in a fun and exciting way. The kids love adding what they know and what they have learned onto our anchor charts. I love that they'll refer back to them when they need help with something that we have learned.

We can NEVER have enough pencils. The pencils in this project have lasted us this year. Someone losing their pencil isn't a problem. We can grab a new one and get started right away.

Thank you again for your generous donations. It has helped us SO much this year.”

  • Start Us Off on the Right Foot!

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

We LOVE these new materials in our classroom. Since the beginning of the year, we have been using these like crazy. The kids love phonics time when they get to pop their sounds in the pop its. That is much more fun than finger stretching. It's been so fun.

The headphones have come in so handy. They are high quality and replaced our headphones that were old and starting to break. Having these on hand when accidents happen has helped a ton!

Thank you again for your help! We couldn't have done it without you!”

  • I Am a Scientist!

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We have loved having science notebooks in our classroom. The kids are enjoying having somewhere to record their new learning and show what they did during their experiment. I have noticed that the children are learning about the topic much more easily and they're excited to be a real scientist in their notebooks!

These have helped us grasp our science concepts. We were learning about rocks and what happens when you rub them together. The kids couldn't wait to draw what they learned and label their photo. They wrote SO many sentences about what they learned and couldn't wait to share!

Thank you again for your help! We couldn't do it without you.”

  • Books for Everyone!

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

Thank you so much for your support for the classroom. We are loving reading these books and learning lessons from them. We are using them to help our social emotional learning and develop new skills. We also love reading these for fun and practicing our reading skills. We are working on many reading skills like describing characters, using context clues, story structure, summarizing, and even retell! These books make the skills we are learning fun and engaging. These books are much more engaging than the basal readers and the children learn and grasp the skills much more easily.

Thank you again for the support. We couldn't have done it without you!”

Students learn more than reading and math during the school day. They learn life skills to help them succeed. By having many different flexible seating options, the students are free to choose where they would like to sit. They learn to make smart choices about the seat to help them focus and succeed during the school day. This daily choice helps them learn to make smart choice later in their lives. These students are still little and aren't meant to sit in a chair all day long. They can't stay focused for very long without moving. While I do provide frequent "brain breaks", there isn't enough time in the day to get them moving as often as they need to and still teach them everything they need to learn. These different seating options will allow the students to move when they need and continue to learn. Flexible seating helps the students focus more during the school day. When the students are able to move while working their engagement increases. They are able to burn off any excess energy they have while keep their whole mind on the task they are working on. When I implemented a modified flexible seating, students sitting and laying on the floor, last year, I noticed the student's engagement and focus increased. Students were completing work quicker and were scoring much higher on things we were working on. This project will help me provide the students with multiple seating options to help all children find a place that will help them learn and succeed.
