• Kindergarten Rocks! Painting Project for Our Rock Garden

  Thank you so much for supporting this rock garden in our kindergarten area. We have been able to create many fun masterpieces with our 3rd Grade buddies so far. It's fun to have the different classes come and paint rocks with our kindergartners.

  As we walk by the painted rock garden it brings good memories of the fun times and puts a smile on everybody's face when they walk by. We will keep adding to our garden all year, and the year after! Who knows how long we can keep planting these seeds of kindness!

• Die Cut Machine Supplies for Kindergarten

  Thank you so much for supporting our DC cut machine needs. We use the die cut several times a day to make eyeballs, shapes for math lessons, shapes, words for posters... You name it! The machine provides our classroom with a lot of support for our art lessons and our Math shapes lessons. Is exciting to be able to produce these in the classroom as we need them time And money!

  We are only a couple months into school and we have already used it for so many lessons each day. We also make manipulatives that help with number concepts and seasonal concepts. We've used leaf cut outs for our journals to describe the weather and season. I am so excited that we have this classroom tool.”

• An Empathetic and Compassionate Classroom

  we have been able to do many integrated lessons into our daily routine for creating an empathetic and compassionate classroom. Many of these things come from our daily routine we work with each other. I have found wonderful slides that teach about being a good friend, including others, and having empathy. My students enjoy these lessons and incorporate them into our daily routines. I have printed and laminated poster and labels as reminders for the classroom that we refer to each day to guide us.

  we have several students in our classroom that really need support and the students have learned so quickly how to be patient and accepting. Thank you for giving us tools to create a very compassionate Classroom!”

• Artful Expression Of Compassion And Empathy

  we have been able to use many of our art supplies already this year in our empathy and compassion lessons. My school is unique because we have a very diverse and flourishing special department that supports extreme student disabilities. We also live in a city where homelessness is prevalent. The books stand in my shoes, and listening with my heart have been a great lesson beginner to many of our lessons. We made houses with the popsicle sticks to show what we wish for all people to experience. we included messages to give to our homeless shelter to show that they are loved and cared for in the community. We have students in our class who face a lot of struggles and learning hurtles. These lessons have been very exciting for my students too talk through, learn more, and show their caring for Others.”

• Cut It Out!

  Thank you this project is a dream come true for our kindergarten classes. The kids and students were so excited when I said we were replacing our broken die cut machine that doesn't work anymore. The machine provides a lot of cut outs that we need our science unit and holiday projects. These help make our classrooms more beautiful and the student work more confident.

  Who was the machine to make manipulatives and cut outs for math and science journals. This resource is in to our daily teaching!

• How Do Living Things Grow Art Projects

  Funded May 6, 2024

  This project was truly living art! The students were so excited to plant their seed and decorate their bowl. We spent several days working on these. The creativity they expressed during our planting experience was impressive. We were able to give these living art bowls to "mom" for Mother's Day which made the project even better! My students expressed so much pride in their plants and decorated bowls. Each student decorated theirs differently and they were so excited to share with their friends. Thank you for bringing this science and art project to life for our students.”

• Holiday Books For Daily Classroom Reading

  Thank you so much for supporting literacy in my classroom! In kindergarten we are introducing a love of books and teaching customs and holidays so this project was very important to me! I wanted to make sure that I was recognizing all the students who may pass through my door, celebrate with them, and read books that are high interest to my students. Your donation made this possible and we did several projects that work with the stories to make the meaning impactful.
