"O Say Can You See" - Teaching America's Symbols to Our Youth
Funded Oct 14, 2006Thank you so much for sponsoring my project. Your giving heart and generosity will be remembered each time I look at these materials. My students will be so excited to look at big pictures of our national symbols and to get their very own magazine. I can't wait until they can take their Weekly Readers home to share with their families.
Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness.

Math concepts are very difficult at times, so having math manipulatives will greatly help my class. We will use them daily during math centers with my morning class and my partner teacher's afternoon class.

Help Kindergarteners Learn to Read!
Funded Jun 14, 2006Thank you so much for your generosity. We are currently enjoying summer vacation, but will be back to school in August. I am really looking forward to being able to help my students develop a joy for reading. The delight in their eyes when they first realize that they can put letters together, make words, and be able to read them is something that cannot be captured in pictures, but we will try. Thank you again for all you are doing to make life richer for my students.
