Learning and education are evolving. We are moving away from teachers standing at the front of the classroom and students listening at their desks quietly. In today's world, children are taking ownership of their learning and are working collaboratively in groups. Our classroom is a place where students come together to collaborate and pursue their interests. My students are diverse. Students are from various religious, economical, and cultural backgrounds. Our classroom is a safe space where students are tolerant and accepting of their peers. We have a motto, "If you can be anything, be kind." This serves us well in our social and academic studies. I love DonorsChoose because it allows my students to have access to materials that are necessary to their education, but are impossible without outside help. Thank you for getting to know our class!
