My students do not have supplemental supplies to enhance their math class. They are already pulled out of their general education classroom into a smaller more structured environment where failure in not an option! We need pencils and calculators to learn higher level math. Some of my students are headed to high school in the fall and haven't had experience working a scientific calculator. I need to do my best to prepare them to be successful when they transition into higher education.
These supplemental materials will help make my students feel that they can do great things in math! Supplies like the games will make learning fun for those who struggle and dry erase board to help us learn how to graph will make the students want to learn! My middle school students are struggling with understanding of positive and negative numbers and my older elementary students are having a difficult time with fractions and decimal
