  • There IS a Cure for the Summertime Blues

    Thank you so much for providing these awesome resources for summer learning! I distributed these kits to students and their parents last Tuesday and explained how to use them during the summer months to maximize and extend their students' learning!

    They were so excited and happy to receive them! We have 17 days of learning left for this school year. I'm very confident that these kits are going to keep them learning and engaged to prevent "summer slide " when we return in the fall!

  • Creative Fingers and Minds

    Thank you so much for the generous donation to my project! My students have been using the looms and loops daily during recess.

    The materials are helping them develop much needed fine motor skills, as well as social skills.

    They like to sit in the shade and work independently on their own potholder, and sometimes they prefer to take turns with a partner.

    I'm so glad these kits have helped them further develop their conversation skills with their peers as well as allowing them to plan, design and create something beautiful and useful that they can take home!”

    You helped provide many great resources that have been used daily to strengthen math and literacy skills. My students love listening to the stories on CD using the Cd players that you helped provide! Right now we have great Halloween selections. They love discussing the characters, plot and settings after hearing the stories.

    The games have been very helpful in allowing them to work collaboratively with their peers while learning math facts, beginning sounds, sight words, etc.!

  • Who Stole the Cookie From the Cookie Jar?

    My students eat lunch at 11:00 everyday, so by the end of the day they are famished! They really appreciate having such a variety of snacks to choose from on the days that the cafeteria does not provide a snack!

    The snack helps them focus on their learning instead of their growling bellies. Thanks for eliminating the distraction of hunger for them and me!

  • The Plants are Ticklish!

    Thank you so much for contributing to my project! My students were so engaged learning about plants and their needs.

    They are so excited to watch their Tickle me Plants grow! We read a book about the plants and watched a quick video showing the leaves close when touched.

    Watching these plants grow and taking care of them is going to make the end of the year exciting! Several times today students walked over to the window sill to check their progress!

  • I’m Hungry!

    Thanks so much for providing the yummy snacks! My students get super excited at snack time. They are a little disappointed when the cafeteria provides snacks because they prefer the yummy treats you provided!

    The snacks encourage them to keep working so we can enjoy a break after our work is completed. Your contribution also lets them know that people care about their needs! Hopefully it will inspire them to give as they get older and are capable of sharing with others.

    Without your support many of them would be very hungry and distracted by their hunger!”
