  • Help Create a Cell Biology Class!

    Funded Mar 7, 2020

Thank you so much for helping fund this project. Many of our students are only exposed to surface level biology concepts and this project will help me engage them at the level they deserve. You are helping create the next generation of science literate adults our country needs! I can’t wait to share pictures of these young men and women working on a cell biology project.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Kelly

  • Inspiring Students Through Building Robots

    Funded Dec 19, 2018

Thank you so much for funding our project! We can't wait to be able to show you the completed robots and projects in the near future. The students will be thrilled when I tell them today.

The holiday season is a hard one for a lot of them and this should give them something to be excited about!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Kelly

We decided to start a STEM/Robotics club because we wanted to give our students the opportunity to explore science in a hands-on, engaging way appropriate for our ever-technologically-advancing world. When we asked our students what interests them in science and technology, they overwhelmingly declared: robots! Though we could spend day in and day out researching robots and their history, it would be far more rigorous to expose our students to not just robots they can interact with, but robots they can build and program themselves. With an increasing demand for technology around the world, we aim to provide our students the foundations needed to compete and succeed in the future. Building Robots is a mentally challenging and a stimulating activity that will allow the students to watch their hard work come to life. It develops critical thinking, problem solving, programming, technological literacy, and team-building skills. It is crucial that we establish this club to prepare our students to build a better and greater future. By funding the Mindstorm EV3 core and Mbot robot, along with the Airblock drone, you will be helping shape the future of our kids. Each of these bots will engage the kids in ways they have never experience before.
