This classroom project was brought to life by Perry and Donna Golkin Family Foundation and 10 other donors.

My students will enjoy the colors and comfortable seating with this new room design. Round table discussions and cushy seats in bright colors will promote excitement for learning and ownership in their class! Like adults, students will excel when they love their work environment, and I believe the furniture I've selected will create a great work environment for my students! Students will have a choice of where they want to sit, and each choice will be the Best Seat in the Class! Students can choose from sitting on the cushy blue carpet for reading, sitting at the round table to complete a group assignment, or just enjoying a great book in an ultra-comfortable bean bag chair! Most of my students are struggling and reluctant readers, and I know that a beautifully designed classroom with cozy and flexible seating will improve their outlook and desire for learning. The colors I've chosen give an earthy and serene vibe. These elements will benefit the kids and promote learning.
