  • Bold Glazes for Bold Self Expression Through Ceramics!

    Funded Aug 22, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our high school ceramics program! Your support has allowed us to purchase a variety of color and specialty glazes, which have greatly enhanced our creative projects. My students are now able to experiment with exciting finishes, bringing their artistic visions to life.

When the students first saw the new glazes, their excitement was contagious! They eagerly gathered around to explore the colors and discuss their plans for incorporating them into their work. It's inspiring to see their creativity thrive with these new resources.

Your donations have made a significant impact on our program and motivated my students to push their artistic boundaries. Thank you again for your incredible support!”

  • Update Required: We Need Newer Model iPads

    Funded Mar 9, 2022

Thank you so much for funding new technology for my students! They love using iPads to create digital artwork, photography, videos in the art studio.

Stop motion animation is one of the big favorites for students in all grades. The apps students use were unable to be updated on our ten plus year old iPads. The new iPads your donations provided were put right to use by these creative young artists.

Technology is such a big part of my students lives, I'm excited to be able to teach them ways to use these iPads as art making tools!”

    Funded May 24, 2022

Thank you so much for the black light and neon art supplies! These young artists had a blast celebrating their creativity in the dark by the glow of the black light!

It was a magical experience to watch students from Kindergarten to 5th grade so full of joy and excitement as they created, danced, sang, and celebrated together as we turned the art studio into a black light art gallery and art making space. What a fun way to close out the year together.

Thank you for supporting this project! Pictures don't do it justice!”

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our art studio! My artists love using the new paint sticks and markers to create and express themselves in full bold color!

These materials are so helpful in keeping students safe by allowing them to access paints without having to go to the sink or share materials.

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous support of our project! My students are loving their sewing kits! I had the biggest turn out ever on the day I passed out the kits with a line around the block (6 feet apart and masked!)

Sewing is such a great skill for students to learn and is such a rewarding project when they create something they can use. Thank you so much for your support for my students during this challenging time for them. This had a huge impact on morale for students! Thank you for supporting our project!”

Other teachers were able to tap into these resources in their assignments at home, as well. Your donations had a huge reach!

  • Art Goes Virtual!

    Funded Aug 11, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous support! The surface pro bundle has been a huge asset to my instruction during remote learning. I have been able to create innovate presentations and videos using the tablet and pen features that my students have really been enjoying.

My favorite way to use the Surface is switching quickly from laptop to tablet mode. I am able to create documents and presentations and instantly switch over to use the table mode with a click of the mouse. The tablet mode works great as a document camera to demonstrate techniques to my students and using the surface pen tool to create digital drawings and make my own templates to use in our digital learning platform, Seesaw.

The Surface is lightweight, has a great battery life and is easily portable between my classroom at school and home-in whatever space I can find to do my work which often changes based on the needs of the rest of my family's remote work and school. My district laptop died shortly after this project was funded so it has been a life saver!”

    With gratitude,
