I have been teaching in a Chicago Public School for the past 12 years. The majority of my time has been spent working with students in full day kindergarten. Each year that I have spent teaching kindergarten, I have had 30 or more students in our classroom. Regardless of large class sizes, I make sure to provide my students with engaging, meaningful, and purposeful activities that activate and capture each child's unique learning style. As an educator it is my responsibility to provide each student with developmentally appropriate materials that allow them the opportunity to learn and peek their curiosity.
