Thank you so much for your generosity. I can’t wait to share the great news with my students. They have been asking for more chapter books for our classroom library. Now they have a variety to choose from. Thanks for making this possible. You’ll never know how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Thanks for making a difference in the life of children.”

I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity in helping us purchase an Epson printer and ink for our classroom! Your support means the world to my students and me. • Memorable Math

    Funded Oct 4, 2023

My students absolutely adore all of these resources. They have made math time so enjoyable and engaging. They beg to play them all day long. They have helped them to improve so much in math fluency. We use the Wild Side Number Sense cards each day! There are so many different games to play. I can differentiate for all of my learners. Math Splat is becoming a new favorite and has helped them to thrive with subtraction. Target Math, The Hundreds Board Mat, and Rapid Rumble are also huge hits. Thanks so much for making a different in the lives of my students. They are thriving in math!”

  • Book Parking

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

My classroom library is organized and easily accessible to my students. The book containers are sturdy and will last a long time. The colors are both inviting and calming. They have helped to create a great classroom library space that we all love. My students visit this space throughout the day. They choose books to take home each day. Every morning they return those books to the correct container. We have containers for all the genres that we study in 2nd grade as well. The class loves to view these books during reading centers. The larger containers allow me to display mentor texts and class favorites for students to reread. Thank you so much for your donation!”

  • Items to Inspire

    Funded Jul 24, 2022

I cannot tell you how much we have enjoyed using the items from this project. We use the mesh bags daily. They hold math manipulatives and student supplies. This makes it easy for students to keep up with their materials. The highlighters help us to highlight important information when reading passages. The whiteboard/clipboards are a game changer when it comes to math. Students can keep their paper with them and use the white board to solve problems.

My students love everything that we recieved! The smelly stickers are a hit! The large erasers remeind them that we make mistakes, but its ok to erase and try again. I use the lucky ducks to choose students to answer question. Each duck has a student number on the bottom. So much fun!

Our next big project included the writing process! I know the laminating pouches will help us to preserve great writing!”

  • Reading With Purpose!

    Funded May 16, 2022

If you walk into my classroom you will see books on every shelf. Nothing makes me happier than sharing a great book with my students. I like to keep a variety of genres for students to read and share. This project included books that would help me to teach story elements, cause and effect relationships in texts, and comparing and contrasting books and characters just to name a few skills.

Reading looks many different ways in my classroom. You will see me reading and discussing a mentor with my class each day. You will also see students completing independent work using the mentor texts to find their answers. Students also spend time reading texts independently or with a partner.

New books create a lot of excitment in our class! Many students do not have a lot of books at home, so this is a wonderful experience for them. Thanks so much for creating the magic of reading in our class!”

  • Read Alouds Work!

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

We have had a blast reading and discussing these AMAZING books We love each and every one! My goal is too enhance both reading and writing in my classroom. Students are encourage to look, think, and wonder as we preview each book. As we get deeper into the text, we begin to work on many different strategies that further their thinking and comprehension.

These texts are perfect for building background knowledge and discussing key literary components. They also allow me to access a wide variety of curriculum content! My students are so engaged while I am reading. I have placed them in a special section of our classroom library. My students love rereading them with by themselves or with a partner. Your donations have inspired a true love for literature in my classroom.”

My school is very diverse. We have a mixed population of English language learners, low-income families, and upper/middle class families. My classroom is filled with mountain climbers with varied backgrounds. Over half of my students are below grade level, but they have a strong desire to improve! A few of my students have books at home, but most of my class does not. I want to give everyone an opportunity to reach the top of the mountain!
