It is easy to believe that high schoolers prefer their digital lives but when we build spaces that encourage them to engage with what is physically in front of them they flourish.   • Second Screen for Success

    Thank you for supporting my project. Having a second screen while flipping between remote, in-person, and hybrid teaching was a lifesaver this spring. I don't think my brain could have managed without it and the quality of my lessons with students would have suffered.

    Being able to work consistently and efficiently makes all the difference when it feels like the world is crumbling around us. My students received fluid and engaging lessons because I didn't have to click through tabs and screens between slide-decks and their faces on zoom. I could follow the chat while sharing the second screen without stammering back and forth.

    Even though my co-workers picked on my for looking like a day-trader, I don't doubt the value the second screen added to my remote teaching this spring.”

The hybrid set up in my school means I'll be teaching part-time from home and part-time from school. In order to stay focused and healthy in the current extended remote teaching environment, I have requested a laptop stand one for my home classroom and one for my in-person classroom.
