    We would like to thank you so much for your generous contributions to our classroom. We were so excited to get our camera and protective case, we began using it right away.

    We have been using the camera to document how we found out the case study name, what we are learning within the Asian Long-horned Beetle case study, and today we will be using the cameras to take pictures of us dressing up as both male and female Asian Long-horned Beetles.

    We look forward to using the photos we have taken to put on our website to show off all the great things we are doing in our classroom.

  • Science Simple Machines Exploration

    You addition to our classroom has incredibly exciting and helpful. Students are truly experiencing science with the inclined planes that you purchased for our school. They are certainly much better than our paint stick inclined planes from last year. We have used them to investigate slope on an inclined plane and also experimented with the friction of different weights on an incline plane.

    We have asked for more materials from our school, but unfortunately the budget has not allowed for the purchase of simple machines for students to use during our investigation. So we appreciate not having to buy sub par materials and get to engage in a much more accurate scientific study.

    Without people like you students would not have the materials they deserve.”

My students come from many economic backgrounds. They are from many countries around the world and they are at different academic levels. We range from special education students and very high functioning students. They attend and expeditionary learning where textbooks are not used and we rely on experiences and field work to teach all subjects. We believe in cross-curricular learning expeditions.
