• Kindergartners Need Decodable Books

  Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donation. Our books arrived yesterday! Today, I read three new books with students and they loved them! They are truly decodable books and my students loved practicing blending letter sounds to read words. They loved the illustrations and speech bubbles. I will use these books for the remainder of our school year and for years to come. Thank you for supporting my students and helping them to strengthen their literacy skills. • Kindergarteners Need a Subscription to Padlet!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! Thanks to you, my class will have access to Padlet for the year. I am going to put together a summer resource padlet for parents! Parents will use Padlet to upload their information for our class list! I use Padlet to keep track of resources that I see online that I want to use for class. • Kindergarteners Need Colored Pencils and Pencil Sharpeners!

  Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donation! My students started cheering when I told them that we were going to learn about a famous artist

  and get a coloring book of his art work. They lost their minds when I told them that they were also getting colored pencils and pencil sharpeners! They are going to love this gift! • Kindergarteners Need Supplies

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donation! Thanks to you, my class has enough dry erase markers to last us until the end of the year! We use these markers for phonics lessons, handwriting practice, and for math games! I use them daily for writing on our whiteboard. We used a lot of laminating sheets for our bookmark sale! • Kindergarteners Need an Amazing Bird Book!

  My students absolutely adore learning about birds! We learn about birds almost daily in our classroom! We love the National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Birds. We have enjoyed learning about robins, ostriches, and hummingbirds from this book! We are going to read the section about bald eagles later this week. This book covers a wide range of different kinds of birds. The photographs are fantastic! My students are excited to receive their very own copy at the end of the year! • Kindergarteners Want to Raise Money to Help Birds!

  Thank you for your extremely generous donation! Thanks to you, my bird obsessed students were able to create incredible bird bookmarks for our bird fundraiser! We raised $230! We are donating the money to the Wild Bird Fund and the American Bird Conservancy! Thank you for helping my students become bird activists and advocates! • Kindergarteners Love Animals!

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donation! My class had a blast learning about animals with Anthony at the Nature Company! We learned about chinchillas, corn snakes, chickens, African giant bullfrogs, and stick bugs. We got to meet a cool frog puppet named, Space Frog! We learned so many cool facts! Did you know that chinchillas have gray fur so they can blend in with rocks? We even got to see Fifi, the chicken, poop. Thank you so much for enabling my students to learn about animals! • Kindergarteners Want to See a Magic Show!

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donation! My students were mesmerized by magic bubbles, card tricks, dot tricks, ring tricks and coin tricks! My students gasped, laughed, and cheered. They were thrilled to learn magic tricks of their own! They especially loved learning a trick where you figure out what color crayon is behind your back. We had a great time practicing this trick!
