• Kindergarteners Want to Learn About Martin Luther King, Jr.

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donation! We will learn about protests and boycotts in general. We will talk about Martin Luther King, Jr.'s role as a civil rights leader and we will also learn about the bravery of "regular" people during the Montgomery bus boycott. I am thrilled that I will be able to give each of my students their very own biography of Martin Luther King, Jr! • 100th Day of School and Valentine's Day

  Thank you for your extremely generous donation! Thanks to you, my students will be able to celebrate the 100th Day of School with hats and certificates. We will also be able to make Valentine's Day cards for City Meals on Wheels. These cards will be added to meals that will be delivered to senior citizens. We will also be able to create Valentine's Day cards for our families using the stickers and card stock paper that you helped us to get. We appreciate your generosity immensely! • Kindergarteners Want to Have a Monster Party!

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donation! Our monster celebration was split over two days! My students adored wearing monster hats and receiving a monster finger puppet! We made monster sticker sheets, played monster bingo and made monster paper bag puppets. It was a huge success. It was the perfect way to spend Halloween and the day after Halloween. Thank you for providing my students with the materials they needed to have a fun and memorable monster party experience! Donors like you are our heroes!”

• Kindergarteners Need Basic Supplies and Financial Literacy Materials!

  Thank you for your extremely generous donation. My students are going to love pretending to buy things with the pretend money. This money looks like real bills and will help kids to recognize denominations of money. We love using the ten frames during our daily vote routine. The paper towels come in handy daily. We use the brown paper towels to dry our hands and the rolls of paper towels for spills. We really appreciate your generosity! Thank you for providing these supplies. • Kindergarteners Need Stickers, Certificates and Ziploc Baggies!

  Thank you for your generous donation. Thanks to you, my students have been able to celebrate birthdays with stickers and certificates. These make a special day even more special! My students especially enjoyed the birthday certificate. I know that the lost tooth certificates and stickers will come in handy as well this year. The Ziploc bags have already been used for math lessons when they held a variety of objects for a lesson on sorting items into two different categories. • Incoming Kindergarteners Need Supplies!

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donation. These supplies are used daily in my class. The adhesive name plates look fantastic on our tables and I can just change out the name plate if I need to make a seat change. My students love their pouches! They hold the flair pens and crayons that you donated. The Purell hand sanitizer bottles are used daily before my students eat snack. The Lysol wipes help keep our desks clean. • Kindergarteners Want to Have a Spudtacular Potato Party!

  Thank you for your very generous donation. I know that my students are going to absolutely adore the potato head felt board set. I know they will have so much fun mix and matching different faces and outfits. The hot potato game is going to be a blast to play! • Kindergarteners Want Books About Mindful Breathing!

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donation. Every morning, a puppet named Rainbow, reads our daily mindful breathing alphabet letter for the day. We have especially loved hot chocolate breathing- breathe in and smell the hot chocolate, breathe out and blow on the hot chocolate to cool it down. We also really like bunny breathing- breathe three short sniffs through your nose, breathe out one long breath from your mouth. Thanks to you, my students and I are learning valuable breathing techniques to calm our bodies and minds down. We appreciate your generosity immensely. Donors like you are our heroes!”

  Thank you for your extremely generous donation! My class absolutely adores our Lego center! Students love creating cities, aircrafts, and animals. Thanks to you, we have tons of bricks now and no one will be left with a small number of bricks to build with. My students especially love using the doors in their creations. Kids have built robots, vacuum cleaners, and turtles. They especially love making handles and wheeling their creations around.
