  • First Graders Need Sidewalk Chalk!

    Thank you for the boxes of Crayola sidewalk chalk! We haven't participated in our special drawing with chalk day yet, but today, I took a box of the chalk out for our school wide Sidewalk Poetry Day. We used the chalk to write and illustrate bird poems since our class adores birds! We had an absolute blast! The colors are so vibrant! I know that my students are going to also love drawing with the chalk soon. I am thrilled that they will get to take their chalk home in a baggy. Thank you for supporting my students.   • First Graders Need Place Value Materials!

    Thank you for your generous donation! Thanks to you, my students will have materials that will deepen their knowledge about place value. We will also be able to use some of the materials during our measurement units. The magnetic place value mat with base 10 magnets was a huge hit! It was added to our daily calendar routine! Next year, I will be able to start this routine on the first day of school! The other magnetic place value set is going to be used for the remainder of the year during our place value unit! Thank you for helping my students learn more about place value!”

  • First Graders Need Scholastic News Magazines!

    Thank you for your generous donation! My incoming students are absolutely going to adore these magazines! My students learn about nature, science, history, inventions, and famous people through these magazines. They learn how to analyze charts and graphs. These magazines teach them how to answer multiple choice questions. My current students absolutely adored the Science Spin article about an eagle father! I am so happy that my students will begin receiving these magazines this fall! We are grateful for your generosity and kindness!”

  • First Graders Love Learning About Animals!

    Thank you for your generous donation! The books arrived today and my students were beyond overjoyed! At our free play center time, the majority of the class asked if they could read books. They all read the new animal books! It was a joy to see them clamoring to learn new facts from the books! They ran over to show me drawings from our new books! Thank you for helping my students learn about animals with these incredibly engaging books! We appreciate your kindness! My students and I are immensely grateful!”
