My fifth grade students attend a low income, high poverty Title 1 school in Washington State. Their school has a high ELL (English Language Learners) population and has over 90% of the kids on free and reduced lunch. My students don't have the same opportunities that other students get in higher income areas. We recently became a STEAM (science technology engeniering arts and math) school as well as a project based learning school. We just need a little help getting the materials and equipment needed to allow them to achieve greatness.
