  • Help Pique Reading Interest and Give Choice Time Options

    Thank you for giving books and choice time tools to my classroom.

    I have used these books to create a more diverse class library for my students. They've enjoyed checking out new relatable series books from the classroom. Some of the picture books I have utilized in our class read alouds and discussions. These books promote empathy, by teaching about people who have differences from my school population.

    Through the use of the class robot and fidgets, I was able to encourage students with learning attention difficulties to focus and attend to the speaker in class. Students have enjoyed using these tools.”

Printing is not consistently accessible in my school. My students often need printed pictures for every anchor chart and many directions throughout the class day. It is imperative for me to have on demand printing because the students often need a range of visual images. With the use of a printer, it will be easier for me to create differentiated worksheets fitting their needs rather than using the school provided workbooks for every assignment. Because my students need additional support through images in every area, a printer will make my work easier. By supporting my classroom through the donation of a printer and ink, it will make my job as a teacher easier so that I can support my students in other areas.
