  • Scholastic News

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

Your continued support of our classroom community is noticed and appreciated! I am so excited that my students will be able to enjoy Scholastic News and Science magazines for a full year- these materials will help enhance our science and social studies, as well as reading and comprehension. I can’t wait to share more once we receive our first issues. Thank you!”

  • Help Stock Our Classroom

    Funded Mar 13, 2022

Thank you so much for your support of our classroom. This classroom restock helped give us some valuable supplies to end our school year. We were able to get a classroom set of white boards, which made our small group math work much more enjoyable. We also restocked our paper supply and our favorite gel pens.

Additionally, we were able to get many science supplies such as beakers, scales, and a digital thermometer. These supplies have greatly enhanced our science curriculum, as we are able to do many more experiments and keep many more supplies on our shelves.”

  • Restock our Montessori Makerspace

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Our Makerspace has now been in production for three years, going on year four! We use a lot of consumable materials, and keeping items in stock has been a priority, as we hope that every student is able to freely create and learn in the space. The supplies gathered from this restock campaign helped to keep our Makerspace stocked and well supplied for an entire year. Students were able to use the abundant materials throughout the year, and many of our items have lasted even longer.

The electronics kits have been such a hit with our students- we saw many excited and happy faces when we gathered to open up the new materials. The building kits were also extremely successful, as we saw students ideas come to life through the use of different raw and polished materials.

Thank you so much for your support in our classroom.”

  • Bring Owl Pellets to Our Science Lessons!

    Funded Aug 1, 2022

Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom community. We have already started working with our new materials.

The gel pens have inspired students to do more writing- just having access to a multitude of different writing utensils helps our students express their creativity in new ways, and gets them excited about the assignment at hand.

We are planning and prepping for our Owl Pellet dissection- we are looking forward to finding out which creatures we have in our pellets. When we opened the box to see what the materials were, my students were SO EXCITED! We had talked about owl pellets quite a bit last year, but we didn't think we would have a chance to dissect- I am so glad we get to have this opportunity!”

  • Help Make Our MAKERSPACE Shine Bright With STEM Projects!

    Funded Sep 5, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our Makerspace. Our Makerspace program is now in the 4th year of operation, and we have grown leaps and bounds in that time. The materials from this campaign helped us get our Makerspace started and have helped us grow with the space. Our space has grown from a cart in the library into an indoor and outdoor room full of things to make, do, and create.

Our students continue to use our cardboard can-do kit daily- they love to build and create new items and having these tools have opened up many opportunities for our students.

We are excited to see what our students do with the materials this year!”

  • Help Keep Our Chickens Cozy In Outdoor Environment!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

The outdoor environment is a cornerstone of our Montessori program. We were thrilled to be able to provide a sturdy and large chicken coop for our feathered friends. From the moment the coop arrived, we were able to enhance our outdoor curriculum and expand our knowledge about animals and building.

When the coop arrived, our students were able to work on figuring out how to read directions, and they then built the coop on their own. We learned a lot about how to fix mistakes when it comes to building, and how to look for safe materials for animals- like paint and stain. Once we saw the built coop and how happy our chickens were in the space, we were so glad to see that all of our hard work had paid off.

We can't thank everyone enough for helping to provide a safe and comfortable place for our chickens!”

  • A Comfortable Montessori Peace Room

    Funded Nov 11, 2020

Our Montessori Peace Room project was a complete success. We were able to fund our space and received all of the items that we wished for. Once our space was set up, we were able to practice yoga and meditation with our students. We created a quiet and peaceful space where our students could read, rest, and grow. This space has created a calming and relaxing place where are students feel safe to express their feelings and emotions, and explore new ways to connect with people within our community and around the world. We have brought a peaceful place to our community.”

  • Bring Robotics to Our Makerspace

    Funded Sep 30, 2020

My students and I have been overjoyed at the blessing of new materials and projects to bring Robotics to our Makerspace. Having these projects and supplies has made a serious impact on our Makerspace program.

When my students first opened up the robotics materials, they were incredibly excited. While some of them have had a chance to use robotics and electronics materials before, for many of my students it was a new experience- something they had seen or heard about, but had not had an opportunity to work on themselves. Our first few days with the new materials were a huge learning opportunity and experience.

We have now had the robotics materials for quite a while and they continue to bring joy, education, exploration, and fun to our Makerspace!”

We did it! Thank you all so much for your generous donations in support of our classroom. My students will really love all of the new art supplies, and the rock tumbler will be so exciting for our unit on rock layers next quarter. Your support is appreciated, and we will look forward to using all of our supplies after winter break!”

  • Give My Students Magical Garden Seating

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

Thank you for your generous donations toward our gardening program. The seating that has been added to our garden has been a truly wonderful addition to our outdoor environment. Our students really enjoy using that space now, and the seating provides additional workspaces for the students to use. Additionally, the insect habitats and bird feeders have made our outdoor space really shine

When our students first saw the new seating benches and new garden items, they were so excited about how this would change up the usage of our space. Having a place to work outdoors is such a privilege, and they were excited about the prospect of being able to do so. Our students were also excited about the bird feeders and insect hotel. We can see the trees from inside the classroom, so the bird feeders really help to attract local wildlife that we can observe all day long, even when we are indoors.

Currently, our garden is still a work in progress and as it continues to evolve, we look forward to seeing how the space changes over the next few months and years.”

The water flow table will provide an engaging way for our students to learn more about the flow of water, our earth, and nature while also enjoying time in our desert environment. Allowing water play gives our children greater access to outdoor play and learning time. Since we live in a hot and dry climate, we are always looking for interesting ways to get our kids outside, and both the water flow table and fort building materials will allow us to achieve that goal. The fort building materials will allow for creative construction and engineering by our students, and as a bonus, they can be used both in the new outdoor classroom and inside on those days that are too hot to play in the sun.
