Help Us Learn And Grow
Funded Nov 22, 2010Thank you so very much for donating to our project! The students have truly enjoyed using the stamps, diagrams, and spaced-aged growing materials to enrich their understand of plants. It is so important to provide our students with hands-on stimulating activities that not only provides fundamental knowledge of a subject, but also inspires them to observe and explore the world around them. Thank you for being a part of our learning community and supplying materials that help children learn and grow.”

Learning Stations are the Bomb!
Funded Oct 26, 2010Thank you so much for the learning station materials! Learning stations are one of the most important parts of our day! Having the learning station materials gives the students a chance to practice the skills we have learned in class in a fun and interactive way! During learning station time, students have the chance to learn together in a hands-on way that helps to reinforce key learning concepts.
Without your generous donation, we would not be able to have learning stations that are self-checking, fun, engaging, and really cool! Because of your kindness our class is able to have daily learning station time. ”

Super Scientists
Funded Sep 6, 2010Our class has immensely enjoyed the microscope! The microscope is a part of our science station along with the fish, science trays, and hermit crabs. The students enjoy looking at the different slides and observing the minuscule details of butterflies, plants, and other materials.
We had a problem with the microscope's light. The company was very quick to send a replacement bulb.
Thank you so much for your generosity! Our students have such wonderful hands-on learning opportunities because of your kindness.
Thank You! ”

Fantastic Fish
Funded Aug 24, 2010Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom project! Because of your generosity, we have been enjoying our fish tank for the past month! The fish tank is a part of our science observation station. The students are sharpening their observation skills while learning to question, investigate, and experiment.
The fish tank is also helping us learn about responsibility. Every week, two students have jobs as veterinarians. It's their responsibility to feed the fish and help the teacher change the water when it turns cloudy.
Our first grade experience has been enriched because of your decision to give to our classroom. Thank you for providing the opportunity to bring such a fantastic learning experience to our students! ”

Slimy Snail Science
Funded Aug 5, 2010Thank you so much for donating to our project! The land snails were out of stock, so we ordered aquatic snails and hermit crabs with the money you provided. The students have named the hermit crabs. The first crab was named Mr. Henry SnappyPants. When we later added another hermit crab to the tank, we named "her" Mrs. Henrietta SnappyPants. I have purchased a heater for the tank, so they will stay warm and cozy during the rough Indiana winter.
My students and I are so thankful for your generous donation and making our scientific dreams come true! We are truly blessed and thankful to have such wonderful generous donors.
