My fourth grade students never cease to amaze me. They have helped to create a classroom community that encourages one another, embraces mistakes as opportunities to grow, and tackles challenges with a growth mindset. These students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, hard-working, and creative thinkers. We are a Title I school with the majority of our students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. Many of our students enter school as English learners. This is a school with motivated students, diligent teachers, and a supportive community of families. This is an environment with high expectations and a commitment to do whatever it takes to meet and exceed them.
