Flexible Seating

It has been a wonderful start to a new school year THANKS TO YOUR GENEROUS donations! My students have had the pleasure of beginning their last year of elementary school with a transformed classroom. Although, this was different for them, they established norms for their new flexible seating and have respected its purpose! Focus and Learn!
The students are moving around more, are thoroughly engaged, and actively involved in their learning with this set up. Also, as an educator, I feel that differentiation in the classroom is more focused and independent. The seating has allowed my classroom to be exciting, student-focused, and a comfortable place to lead and learn.”

Our school is busting at the seams! We have limited space in our building, and some classrooms are divided with partitions due to our increased population of over 400 students. Our school gets minimal funding, and most classroom items are purchased by yearly allotted faculty senate funds or from the teachers' pockets. Cramped classrooms aren't always conducive to students and their individual learning needs. Flexible, or alternative seating, has proven to help students focus better and do their best work when they are more comfortable. As we are slowly initiating, students are experiencing more growth and success with flexible seating!
