    This new resource has impacted my classroom in so many positive ways. First, the students are aware that they must be invited into the space. We all agreed upon the name of the space to be called the peace- corner. There are three different ways one can be invited into the peace corner, one way is by completing your work assignment for that class. Once your assignment is completed students will be allowed to work on their IXL on the computer in the peace corner. A second way is by helping your peers. If a student learns and understands an assignment that some students may be having difficulty with that student may offer to help the student and both may enter into the peace corner. The third way, last but not least is to request, if your reasoning makes sense you will be able to enter into the peace corner while you continue working.

    Students must keep in mind there may be others over in the peace corner when they enter and only four at a time will be allowed. While students are in the corner they must show respect for one another which means No Bad Language or behavior will be allowed in that space.”

In this Special Education classroom student need a lot of extra help in completing their assignments. Help like, the use of checklists, graphic organizers and examples in completing their assignments. This is where the monthly donations for the gift card come in for TPT worksheets and scaffolds to differentiate the assignments for my students, allowing them to complete their assignments on time. We appreciate the support in helping our students thrive.

About my class
