Criss, Cross, Applesauce!
Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you very much for the rug. My students eyes lit up when they came into the classroom and saw it on the floor. The bright and vibrant colors were engaging and fun for them. They were all eager to sit on it and choose a spot. The rug is a great resource for our meetings. It allows them to contain their body and control their body movements. The rug also brightens up the room and is a safe spot for my students to put their bodies. The rug is clean and very easy to maintain. Thank you for your contribution to my classroom and students.”

Funded Sep 7, 2022My students require colorful, engaging visuals, wall decor, posters, and signs around the classroom to help with their introduction to print and reading. They are just learning routines and schedules to help with their transitioning skills. The color printer will help to print out pictures for them to follow. It will also give me the opportunity to print out pictures of the students to help with their face and name recognition. My students are excited to see the addition of the color signs and pictures in the classroom. It will help them familiarize themselves with the new environment and love their classroom.”

Funded Apr 22, 2022The sensory caterpillar wall was a great addition to my cozy corner! It helps my students in a variety of ways. When my students are feeling upset or frustrated and have difficulty expressing themselves, they use the sensory wall as a way to calm themselves down. They play with the mirror and attached fidgets to help themselves deescalate.
My students also use the sensory caterpillar as a way to improve and enhance fine motor skills. They play with the locks and practice opening and closing the window panels. They also enhance their grasping skills when they move the beads through the maze. It is a very soothing experience for them. Thank you very much for your generosity and support.”

Scientists at Large!
Funded Nov 15, 2021Words cannot express how grateful I am for your very, generous donation. My students love the materials that you purchased for us. The touch and feel capsules were a big hit when we were learning about the sense of touch. Students enjoyed guessing and revealing to see what they felt. They also loved the mystery reveal shakers that made different sounds. These products brought their learning to life.
When my students saw the new boxes, they immediately went to them and asked to open them. They were curious about the new items that were in them and were eager to play with them.
The upcoming units are force and motion, sink/ float, and magnets. I look forward to utilizing the materials you purchased for students to play, engage, and learn with. Thank you again.”

Funded Dec 12, 2019The resources that you have purchased for my classroom have been a hit! When they saw the new addition to our centers, they were all very eager to play with them. My students absolutely love the people counters. They use them when they are building with blocks and incorporate them into their play.
My students also really love the sorting bears. They use them when sorting to make different groups such as by color, shape, size etc. I plan on using them in our upcoming unit on measuring where they will place them in a bucket balance to see which weighs more/ less.
Thank you for your generosity and for supporting my students! You are helping shape the minds of tomorrow!”

Young Artists at Work!
Funded Aug 25, 2019Thank you very much for your kind and generous donation to my classroom. The art rack is a great addition to our art center. My students' work of art and masterpieces are able to dry and stay organized after they are completed.
Before the art rack, their paintings were placed near the windows and around the room. Unfortunately, the students were usually excited and would smear their paintings when trying to look at them. The drying art rack looks great in our classroom and the bright red color is captivating to the eye.”

One particular app that my students use is Epic books which allows them to choose from thousands of books to read. This app includes some of their favorite titles such as Big Nate and Goosebumps. The tablets have provided engagement for my students and have had a positive effect on them.

Funded Sep 14, 2018Words cannot express how grateful I am for your extremely generous donation to my classroom. Your donation has helped make both myself and my students healthy and germ-free. With a healthy classroom environment, my students have been able to learn in a clean and sanitary classroom.
The tissues were super helpful especially during allergy and cold/ flu season. The wet swiffer helps get dirt and spilled drinks off the floor. The baby wipes are used daily before snacks are given and to clean up crumbs or messes on the desks.
