As a Professional School Counselor, I am constantly on the go! A Fire tablet is just the thing to help my students access videos, take self-assessments, capture photos and read e-books in the counseling environment. Furthermore, the tablet would allow me to share strategies and resources with families based on session goals. Finally, I would use this tablet to organize materials, a critical task for a mobile counselor such as myself. Technology will open opportunities for my students to make meaningful connections and memories to share with their families in and out of the counseling environment. A set of three tablets will allow students to share tablets during small group activities or using individually during counseling sessions. Students will complete cool down assessments and self-reflections on the tablet to assist them with emotional regulation.
