I have two different classes for the upcoming year: LAR(Language Arts & Reading) and DEBATE! Students that attend our school come from diverse backgrounds and rarely have regular school supplies, let alone extra supplies for activities, like debate. Of course I am also in charge of Academic Pentathlon and Academic UIL at our campus too! I try to find as many ways to help students enjoy learning and provide ways for students that may not be as talented on a sports teams with ways to shine competitively throughout different competitions! Debate is a skill that students can carry with them for the rest of their lives. The impact of supporting any of my projects will reach more than the initial numbers indicated, since I of course use supplies until ravished!
