Welcome to my page, everyone. I am a third grade teacher at Ames Elementary, which is located in Maine. We have a wonderful close-knit school that educates some truly extraordinary youngsters. I find my students to be curious, lively, fun and loving. Our school is very special in that we, as a staff, try to teach students not only how to achieve greatness in the classroom but also how to be kind. . Our core values, as explained to the children, are to not only succeed academically, but also to show grit, cooperation, positivity, and responsibility. Students accept challenges with a smile and persevere with a positive attitude. However, that being said, we lack funds as we are a small school and I am always looking at ways to bring in technology and hands-on activities to encourage participation, extend learning, and to build students' self confidence and self awareness.
