  • Sensory Experiences for Preschool PALS

  • Music and Math Through Percussion

    Our class is loving our musical instruments! Each day the students are eager to count beats and march around our classroom. We practice new music vocabulary and super important skills like waiting and listening. The instruments have been very motivating for student behavior as well as something fun and silly for students and teachers to let loose a little bit. Students shake and tap their sillies away while counting and keeping rhythms. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contributions they truly make a differences in each of my students day and first experiences with preschool.”

  • Preschool Vegetable Garden

    Our PAL students are enjoying our new garden ! We have planted vegetables like squash, spinach, peppers, cilantro, tomatoes, and lettuce. When students first saw the boxes, they wanted to help fill them with soil and get planting. Almost everyday, during outdoor play time we take turns watering our preschool vegetable garden with our watering cans. We have posted signs and visuals to help students understand what will hopefully one day grow. Students are excited to see sprouts in our garden and cannot wait for vegetables. Thank you again for your donations as they have impacted our school in a such a positive light.”

  • Bubbles and Chalk for Preschool Outdoor Play Experiences

    Thank you again for your donations, Our class is so excited to be back in person and outside !! We have so many great activities planned for the students. Your donations are used outside with bubbles, chalk, and music- so that students can play and build academic and social connections to one another. In preschool we build academic and language skills through engaging play and these materials have helped to make these activities a reality.   • Preschool For All Learners Sensory and Art Experiences !!

    Our students are loving our new outdoor resources like bubbles and chalk ! It is so rewarding to see my students outside listening to music, running, singing and dancing together.

    In preschool we build community, social skills, and language through outdoor play centers. These donations have helped ease my students transitions from home to school and made them seamless.   • Special Playground for Special Friends

    I would like to take a moment to thank you for your donations. With these purchases we were able to buy an interactive play kitchen, sensory floor mats, and a cool down tent.

    Our students were so excited to see and take turns playing with the kitchen. Our sensory floor tiles are great for maintaining social distance in our preschool classroom. Students with special needs can use the extra visuals to stay in designated areas and participate (from a distance) during music and movement activities.

    Next steps for my classrom include more individualized sensory activities and as much hands on learning as possible ! My students learn best from experience and we are excited to get back to the classroom ! Thank you again for your support, it means the world to myself and to my students !”
