Welcome to my Donor's Choose page, where I am forever asking for your help on a number of important resource challenges I face as a teacher. I am the chairwoman for the Safety Patrol at a Title I Intermediate School in Virginia. The students I have the privilege of working with are role models for our entire school and are eager to take one yet another challenge. They are the hardest working group of eleven year olds I know. I am also the creator and director of our school's first Critical Thinking program which I titled Think Tank. This club allows our higher-level thinkers to have an outlet to discuss complicated issues and problem solve together, while helping them understand how important having a mind of your own can be. For my "day job" (haha!) I am the fourth grade Gifted and Talented teacher where I spend most my days making little brains explode with knowledge!
