  • Caught "Bee" ing Kind!

    Funded Dec 10, 2021

When I first thought about starting this program I had hoped students would buy into being kind towards each other. I had no idea how this program would take off. Students and staff are always on the look out for others being/ doing kind things for each other. The act is reported and student receives candy and are then put in the drawing for a bee kind tee shirt that they proudly wear on Wednesdays! I can't express my appreciation for your support, this program is making a huge difference in our entire school and our school district as our elementary has started the program in their building as well!!! Thank you for helping me make our Bee Kind program a huge success.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Foley

  • New Year, New Supplies

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thanks to your support of my project for school supplies, my students are getting off to a good start of the school year. I loved to see the big smiles on their faces when I was able to give them the school supplies their families were unable to provide for them.

Just having a new binder and notebooks to start a new school year let's my students know how much complete strangers support their success in their educational career.

Thank you for your generosity and kindness you have shown to my students!”

  • Bee Kind

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

This is our second week of school and my new program is a huge success! Thanks to your support I started a new program this year called Bee Kind. Students and Staff report the act with the students name to me , in turn I find the students and the receive a piece of candy with a note saying they have been caught 🐝 ing kind! I try and caught students in their classroom so others see what's going on. We have also started announcing the names of students caught 🐝 ing kind in our morning announcements. It's been exciting to watch how students are responding to this program. Students are keeping their eyes opened to find others to report! I can't thank you enough for this fabulous start to our school year.”

  • ET Call Home!

    Funded Jul 20, 2021

Thank you for helping me with this project. The phone chargers will be going off to college with my first generation students. I wanted to give them and their parents a piece of mind knowing they have a battery back up not only for their cell phone but will also charge their laptops. My students were excited to receive them. They sad complete strangers are supporting our future. As you know my students come from poverty and it's not often that people show such support. Thank you for your kindness and generosity, with out you I would not of been able to provide these batteries for my students.”

  • Sweet Incentives!

    Funded Jul 20, 2021

Thank you for supporting my students and myself.. Your donation for my sweet incentives will be put to good use. My plan is to use the candy as rewards for grades and attendance. So many of our students don't make school a priority. It's amazing how far candy can go with students. We will all be back in the classroom after online for the past year and a half. I am excited to start a new reward program with them. I would not be able to put it in place with out your support! I appreciate your kindness and generosity.”

  • Wrap My College Bound Students With Comfort

    Funded May 7, 2021

I would like to thank you for your selflessness and generosity you have shown towards my seniors. I had the pleasure of going out yesterday and delivering the bedding donated by you to my university bound seniors. They are so appreciative of you for making it a little easier to start the next chapter in their life. My students were so surprised that complete strangers believed enough in them that you made a donation so they would receive a bed in a bag. My students parents were just as appreciative of your donation.”

  • Let's Send Students From The Class Of 2021 In Style!

    Funded Apr 1, 2021

Thank for your generosity! My college bound students received a college backpack. Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to each of their homes to deliver the backpacks you helped me purchase for them. The students really appreciated the backpack and said how awesome that complete strangers have faith in them reaching their high educational goals! Many of my students have little to no support and they were just in disbelief that you and your selflessness helped them have a positive start to their new life adventure ahead of them.”

  • Students need school supplies

    Funded Aug 18, 2020

Thank you for your generous donations! My students and their parents were so appreciative of your donation. In these uncertain times with Covid-19 the act of receiving school supplies for my students and families in need really made for an easier start to this so called start of the school year. My parents want to let our friends and strangers know that your generosity is more then appreciate and they feel the love and support of people within our community and those that are complete strangers. I myself thank you from the bottom of my heart .”

  • Imagine No College Because You Don't Have the Basic Essentials!

    Funded May 25, 2020

It was very exciting to be able to deliver college dorm room essentials to six low income students. Myself and two others went to each of our chosen students' home to surprise them with the boxes of essentials.

It was heart warming to watch an 18 year old young man tear up and say, thank you so much, this will really help me, I will have money for books now. Another student texted me the next day to let me know how much she appreciate being in the receiving end of the essentials and that she loves her blanket.

I appreciate your generosity and support of my students, I couldn't have helped these students with out you.”

  • Let's Visualize Our Future

    Funded Aug 21, 2019

This is just our second week of school and my College and Career center is bustling with students. I love the reactions from each students as they enter the space. I hear WOW this looks like a place we would see at a college. Students are coming in taking advantage of the space and have started looking into colleges.

This was my vision for my new space! I wanted a place that is not only warm and welcoming, but a place for resources. I am happy to see the response our students are having to our new space. I have seniors already wanting to apply to college, it's only the second week of the school year!

My plan for our students is to have our center full of resources and meaningful conversations. I see our center being full all day long with students researching different colleges and careers.

The flags are grabbing the students' attention and they are asking questions about where is that college located and what kind of grades do you have to enroll.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Foley

The table would be a nice place to sit at as we have conversations about life after high school. If I can create a space that is warm and inviting for students they will come in and we can start having those meaningful conversations. The table would be a great visual piece to the college and career center. The table will help with my vision of having a space that will make students ask questions about the vast opportunities available to them. I feel my students would get a lot out of having a college and career center on our campus
