My fully self-contained special education classroom is for students with extreme cognitive disabilities (autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy). These students are far more engaged when working with 3-D manipulative learning tools (blocks, objects, games) than when only using pencil and paper. These manipulative tools would enable my students to interact with curriculum in a far more intuitive and successful manner than ever before. Students born with disabilities deserve equitable access to education no matter the teaching tools required, and your donations would make that a reality.
