Supports for Success
Funded Aug 30, 2023Thank you so much for helping my kids! We are so thankful to have these items that will improve success in the classroom. I’m so excited for the kids to see these supplies when they arrive. So many have asked for them but we simply didn’t have enough at the school. Thank you again!”

Funded Nov 19, 2022Thank you so very much for supporting my kids with their education! They don’t often get help from outside school, so this means a lot to them and to me. I’m excited to share the pride they’ll experience thanks to you in the thanks packages that you’ll receive in the spring.”

Methods of Madness... Or Notes and Resources?
Funded Aug 25, 2018As some of you well know, copies are hard to come by in schools due to budgets. However, thanks to your generous gift, my students are able to work with colored maps in Social Studies, task cards that allow for more movement and interaction with the content and peers, last minute ideas on how to help students better understand the material, and so much more! It may just be a printer, paper, and ink, but to my students and me, it's a better opportunity to grow and improve their education for a better future.
The part my students have been most excited about is the colored ink. The students were excited about being able to make copies of notes in the beginning, but have actually come to be more responsible and moved on to loving the color copies. They can see and read images more clearly, along with the interest the color brings to the assignments. I don't think they understand the full scope of what it means to have a printer, paper, and ink (even without color) to allow them all the opportunities they deserve. With this, I am also able to upload copies of assignments easily to the site that shows their grades; this way, they are able to complete or re-do assignments that are missing or could be improved, which of course helps further their knowledge of the content we study.
The students who have warmed most to this gift are those who understand the cost required to purchase such beneficial gifts, the students who don't have printers at home yet can have their final copies of papers published and printed just as beautifully as anyone else's. It allows the students to appreciate and display the quality of their work and the tasks they complete. It allows them to have extra copies of assignments they have lost, giving them an added piece of responsibility necessary for becoming self-reliant and self-disciplined. It is incredible to see the initiative the students have begun to take in their own education and betterment due to these resources.
Each benefit of this gift is thanks to you and your generous donation. We are so incredibly thankful to you for the ability to improve the education and opportunities for our 6th Grade family.”
