Students learn mathematics better when they have hands-on tools that help them develop their skills. Using flashcards has proven to enhance the learning process with immediate feedback on progress and remediation opportunities are instant. Students will have an opportunity to learn financial mathematics about saving money and calculating interest. Students will learn about making, understanding, and reading graphs and charts that will stay with them for a lifetime and allow them to see mathematics through a variety of illustrative graphics. Students will have an opportunity to play mathematical games to learn to master math in a way that is not intimidating in a group environment with peers while evaluating each other's skills.
