Hearing Back to School
Funded Sep 8, 2023I want to thank you all for donating to my project. Each of my students will be thankful for having their own set of headphones. We actually are required to use a computer-based program for majority of our curriculum. This will get them more embedded in improving their use of technology, as well. Your contribution really means a lot to my students and I and we thank you for your donations. Once again thank you so much.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Mathis

Funded Apr 22, 2022My students were super excited about receiving new supplies. For the 2022-23 school year I was able to implement more research and hands assignments for my students. We were able to create themes each month in which was on display in our backpack area. We were able to use more coloration so they could talk more about what they saw. When they were able to interact with their learning, it made them want to engage more into seeking new/more content information. I thank you for assisting with my students learning.”

Special Needs Project Based Learning
Funded May 11, 2023I'd like to thank each of you for donating to our classroom. This is all I could have ever hoped for during Teacher Appreciation Week. Whenever my projects are funded, my parents and campus don't have to worry about buying additional items needed for my students to learn. I just advised my students about our project being funded and their faces filled with warmth.”

Funded Jan 24, 2022Again thank you for donating to my SLL classroom. The new recourses are assisting my students in all content areas (Reading, Math, Social Studies, and Science). Each time my students work on an hands on assignment they are able to use markers and crayons to write their answers and they are able to draw out what the top is for comprehension. My students are now using the items to talk about different types of energy in Science. Due to them being able to make their own picture flash cards representing light, sound, wind, and electric energy, they are more eager to use their cards demonstrating the answer. When the kids first saw the new materials there face were filled with excitement. One student could not stop thanking and hugging me. "Creativity Starts with Me" will be an ongoing project because I want my students to use their recourses as we move into future topics. This project will assist all of my current and future students until the items deplete.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Mathis
