These materials will enhance learning in my classroom, by providing the hands-on experience that kids often need. This year, I will be teaching in a collaborative setting for one block out of the school day. I would love to create an atmosphere that provides multiple opportunities for a wide range of learners. For this project, I chose a lot of manipulatives dealing with fractions. These will help my students better understand how to add, subtract, multiply and divide them as this can sometimes be a difficult task. Another thing I included for this project, is different seating arrangements. I have found it to be beneficial to have a wide variety of resources for my students who function better outside of a classroom desk.
