  • Ultimate Resources

    Funded Jun 12, 2021

This project has been such a gift. I am one lucky teacher to have you support my classroom and teaching with this donation. By granting my access to such a wonderful resource such a Teacher Pay Teacher is just fantastic. It allows me individualize my students learning from year to year. It grants me access to resources that allow me to be flexible with my lessons. Each year I get new students I get new kinds of learners. With new learners I need new material to guide their learning. I may add more art with one group of students than another group that I may use more sports guided lessons. That is why this is an ultimate resources. It allows me to help each of my students learn. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Matheson

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. This donation not only helped to fill the bookcase but made the children so excited to read. The students love having extra time to chose a book and find a new and interesting story. One of the great things about your wonderful donation it will allow every students the opportunity to participate in and challenge themselves to read the Battle of the Books list this year. I am lucky to have people such as yourselves supporting my students and classroom.”

  • Expressions of Art

    Funded Mar 22, 2021

You are wonderful. My class and I are so grateful for your support. We have already been able to do some great artwork. My students will benefit from these resources for quite some time. When the students realized that these art supplies were for their use they were overjoyed. I have such a variety of students who learn in different ways. It has been great to see those who learn better through art thrive in their lessons. The class has also loved using these tools to link with their social studies as well. It has also been great for students to manage their emotions and feeling with their own art journals. Allowing them to stay active and engaged in their lessons and finish quickly so they can draw in their journals. Again your support of our class it greatly appreciated.”

I am so grateful for your support of my classroom. My students have enjoyed new ways to experience P.E. They have loved learning new sports and trying new things. My class has had a blast improving their eye hand coordination as well as their cardio. They have been able to have fun in teams and individually while working with the stacking cup. The magnet set, disc toss, and zip game helped them get through these weather changing times. Thank you so much for helping my students stay active, and build new skills.”

  • Connecting Personally to Literature

    Funded Sep 4, 2020

My class and I are so grateful to you for your support of our classroom. My students are so excited to read this book. We have been studying space and learning about inertia. They are excited to get to read a novel that explores space. I am excited to read this with them not only for the literature elements, and character studies but to help them study the historical elements. I love showing students how history has shaped their lives today. It is always wonderful when students realize that everyones stories matter. In class I sometimes assign them to read chapters on their own and then we study what we read. Other times we get the chance to read aloud as a class. This is their favorite. They love to read aloud, hear the inflection, and discuss in the moment what they are reading. They start to truly develop a desire to want to read, and discuss what they read. They not longer just read because their teacher said to.

Thank you so much for helping my students seeing their Science, and Social Studies lessons come to life in historical stories, they find interesting.”

  • Encouraging Change

    Funded Sep 17, 2020

I am so grateful to you for your support of my class. I am so lucky! This book is perfect to go along side of our STEM Fair project. It is helping my students to see the difference between just completing a random experiment and designing something that con solve a problem. This book allows them to think outside of themselves. As we have studies various cultures and how geography impacts the way someone lives this is a wonderful example of that and how humans can adapt and improve in many ways. The craft supplies not only allows me to support various students needs at they work to create their own projects but will also be helping us later in the year as we design biomes with and without human impact. My students and I love the books the most however. You should see them when they first received the books. They could not wait to examine them. They studies the cover explored the map in the beginning, were excited for the pictures and didn't even blink when I said their homework is to read the first chapter. I can't wait to see their understanding change as they realize the pictures and stories are real. Thank you for helping my students strive to not only improve themselves, but to improve the world they live in as well.”

  • Engaging Literature

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

My class and I are so grateful to you for your support of our classroom. My students Loved this book! They had so much fun reading about Percy and using it to understand Greek Mythology. I love how much they would beg to read. We often would read the chapters aloud and this became something they actually asked for. They would cheer when I would say, "Lets read the next chapter" and whine when I would say we could not read today. I loved watching their understanding of figurative language expand as they explored the way Rick Riordan wrote. It was fascinating watching their writing be influenced by it as well. It helped take a class who I could barely get to write their three to five paragraphs of a story to keep asking for more time as they added to their 5 pages or more of a story. Your donation especially helped those of my students who read at a slower pace now they had the ability to take the book home with them to read at home to help them stay on pace with the rest of the class, yet not feel rushed. Thank for not only helping my class learn this year but to help me with further years learning as well.”

  • Tech Support

    Funded Nov 6, 2019

I cannot thank you enough for your donation to my classroom. The white boards and headphones have made a major impact on the lessons in my classroom. Students are able to quickly do equations on their white boards, saving paper and time. They also allow students to show their work and participate in class discussions and projects. It has been great to see how the different types of learners are engaging with this simple supply. Thank you so much for the support.

In addition thank you for the headphones. Each student now has access to their own set of headphones. Each headphone is assigned to one student. They love having the responsibility and privilege of their headphones. Students have been so excited to have their own set to use. They are able to work on Nearpods, Lexia, Hour of Code, listen to reading passages to help comprehension, tune out the nose of others while they work, and more. One small example is a student who has been struggling to focus and complete his work during independant practice. He is now able to work on his assignment with his peers without getting distracted. These resources have created such a shift in my classroom and helped to enhance my student learning. Thank you so much for your support of our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Matheson

My students are smart, creative, kind, and happy. They are trying to figure out who they are while trying to catch up and learn as much as they can. My favorite thing about these students is how strongly their compassion and desire to learn shine through every day.
