Seating That Moves You
Funded Nov 30, 2022You are so appreciated. You will never know how much your support is appreciated. My class is filled with multiple types of learners and your support helps me teach each of them in their own way. You have brought in even more types of flexibility to the classroom allowing students to move as they learn. they have been able to take owenership of their learning environment, and then share it with others. It has also helped me to rearrange the environment as needed as well. I am so grateful to supporters like you that help teachers reach all of their students and help to make school a great place to learn.”

Funded Nov 30, 2022Your donation has been such a wonderful support to our classroom. My students have loved these books. They have been able to find fun in literature and mixing it with art. They have been able to discuss books on a different level, finding joy in the story itself. The students enjoyed the resources that these supplied and helped them to learn about literature in a whole new way. Students created mind maps, acted out parts of the stories, analyzed characters, settings, plots, conflict and so much more. Thank you for helping me be a better teacher and, most of all helping my students find a love of literature.”

Funded Aug 30, 2022Thank you so much for giving my students the opportunity to participate in the Battle of the Books. They have loved challenging themselves, tracking their progress, and reading all kinds of new books. It has made a huge impact on the class. They also love having a fun bright area they can sit on to read. The mats help extend the field of their movement and being color and flexibility to the whole classroom. The students do not look at the math manipulative the same way but they enjoy them just as much. we use them in small groups to help increase their concept comprehension. Thank you for helping support my students and classroom.”

Funded Aug 9, 2022Your donation has truly helped to brighten our classroom. You have made our closed off classroom become an inviting place to learn. The students and I are so grateful to you for your support. They love to sit on the rug, and ask for free seating all of the time. They have made the space their own. It is their favorite gathering spot. The lights help to brig a diversity and allows us to keep our learning environment engaging and encouraging. I personally love the vacuum as it is the students responsibility to vacuum the rug and other large messes. This responsibility has helped the students to take ownership of their learning environment. Thank you so much for helping me build a safe and inviting place to learn.”

Funded May 3, 2022My students loved these books! Thank you so much. It was amazing to see how their attitude changed as we continued to read the book. At first, even though they felt privileged to get brand new books to read they did not want to read another book. Then as we get through the story the students are gasping and excited to read and do not want to stop. They were engrossed in the characters and plot. Every student said it was their new favorite and most went on to read the rest of the series as well. The book marks helped to keep us organized and bring color to the classroom as well. Thank you so much!”

Funded Jan 25, 2022My students are so enthusiastic about your support of our classroom. They have absolutely loved the addition to our classroom. They were so excited when the chairs arrived. They had a blast blowing up the balls and assembling the chairs. These chairs have changed the dynamics of our classroom. For a while we had to pick new students every day for students to take turns getting a chance to use them. Students have loved being able to have choices in their seating. They have been able to learn about themselves and their own academic needs as well. This donation has been a wonderful asset to our classroom. Thank you so much!”

Audio and Visual
Funded Dec 29, 2021Thank you so much for all of your amazing support. I have loved being able to share these supplies with my class. I have all types of students who learn in all types of ways. The materials you provided for my class helps me to reach all of them. Students are loving the new headphones. They are comfortable and work well. It helps many of them with their various activities throughout the day. The markers have also been a wonderful addition. allowing us to save paper and engage students on multiples levels. Thank you so much for all of your support of my classroom!”

Successful Seating
Funded Oct 28, 2021This project was a fantastic addition to the classroom. When the students saw the seats put together and set up in the class, they were overjoyed. The seats have been able to move and grove while still learning. My favorite part of these seats is that they allow the students to move and fidget without distracting myself or their peers. It stops them from leaning back in their seats, engage their core and overall keeps them on task. The chairs are already so popular that we have had to set up a rotation schedule so all students will have the chance to use them fairly. Thank you so much for all of your support!”

Learning With Plants
Funded Oct 4, 2021This has been one of my favorite things to have in the classroom. The Lettuce Grow garden tower is a wonderful addition to the learning environment. Wa have it set up in the front of the class and every week a different student is in charge of caring for it. They check the water levels, the timers, and even test and adjust the PH levels of the water to determine if we need to add nutrients or not. They have been able to deduce that the amount of light they receives affects the color of the plants as well. It allows for some wonderful hands on learning.
We have been able to watch the plants grown and have even harvested some of them. We have tomatoes and green beans growing larger and larger. Students love to see the flowers change into vegetables right in front of their eyes. Not to mention the natural life the plants bring to the classroom environment. You can clearly see some students who may have been struggling waiting for recess brighten up when the automated lights come on in the room and they are reminded they can do it on a subconscious level... In short thank you for your support and for brightening my classroom.”

Funded Sep 13, 2021These resources have been such a blessing. It has been great for students to have musical instruments to express themselves. We have been able to use them in Science lessons making songs about the water cycle and adding rhythm and tempo to our stories. We were even able to take our social studies to a whole new level of interest and engagement. My students especially love the play dough and the fidget popper. They are a great source for those students who have hands that do not like to hold still. It allows students to stay engaged while they are listening to lessons with out causing disruptions. Thank you so much for your generosity and helping to make our classroom a more positive place.”
