Let's Get Comfy!
Funded Dec 4, 2018I wanted to start by thanking you for your generous donation. There will never be enough words to describe how your generosity has impacted myself and my students. My students are now able to enjoy our classroom library. They love sitting so comfortably in their new chairs while reading a book. In the past the library wasn't always an area of our classroom my students enjoyed, now with our rug and comfy chairs, I can't keep them out of there!
Being that my students are so young, I assumed that things like classroom environment and materials were things my students just didn't notice but boy was I wrong! As soon as they entered the classroom they noticed our new rugs and chairs! They were rushing to be the first one in the library to get a nice comfy spot and I cant get them to leave now! Your donation has really helped me get my students excited about books and reading!
Right now, my students are really enjoying learning about insects! In our new comfy library, they have been able to sit and enjoy books about every insect you can imagine! I love that I am able to get 3-4-5 year olds so excited about reading, by creating a comfy, safe, and relaxing space for them to enjoy all thanks to you!
Thank You again for your generosity and dedication to children, it means the world to me!”

This classroom project was brought to life by the estate of Dorothea Lutz and 7 other donors.Listening Center
Funded Sep 10, 2015Thank You so Much for your donations! Your help has changed the lives of my students!
Through the use of the Listening Center my students are now able to read fluent! They are able to listen to someone read a book as they follow along! They can now hear how words are pronounced and how good readers read with expression!
My students could not wait to come to the listening center each day! They loved being independent and knowing how to use the CD player and listening to their favorite stories like "Corduroy" through the headphones!
I cant wait to implement this into my classroom again this year! I am sure it will be their favorite center!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Punches
